This collaboration will bring healthcare courses to learners around the world, starting with a beginner-level Specialization program in Medical Billing and Coding.
MedCerts, a leader in online healthcare and IT certification training, has developed over 50 immersive online national certification training programs with best-in-class outcomes. This partnership with Coursera will offer learners a digestible and topical option to explore their interests in the healthcare industry.
The Specialization program, which will be available to Coursera’s 124 million registered learners, will incorporate MedCerts’ 12 Elements of eLearning in an accessible format. It will be made up of multiple courses and designed to be completed in weeks. This initial launch is the first of many MedCerts Specializations planned through this partnership.
According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment in healthcare occupations will grow 13 per cent within the next ten years. With this collaboration, learners everywhere have the opportunity to upskill and reskill themselves in the healthcare industry without lifetime debt.
