EdTechReview.in is thrilled to announce the news of Toprankers’ acquisition of The Lex Guru, an Indore-based legal test prep platform. This marks a promising transition to Judiciary Gold’s new centre in the city.
Toprankers, an EdTech startup focused on providing career opportunities beyond engineering and medical, is consolidating its commitment to the legal test prep sector through its existing platform LegalEdge and this acquisition. With this, Toprankers hopes to extend its presence in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and other neighbouring regions.
The Lex Guru works towards achieving excellence in the field of Judicial Studies with the help of renowned Judges and Academicians. It provides comprehensive teaching of Judicial Services Examinations to students. To celebrate this substantial milestone, Toprankers is organising an event “Judiciary Samwaad” on 7th July in Indore.
The event will have two sessions: the afternoon session commencing from 3 PM to 4:30 PM and the evening session from 6 PM to 7:30 PM. Participants at the event will receive exclusive hard copies of printed mock tests tailored specifically for offline batches. These mock tests include thorough explanations to enhance the learning experience. Additionally, Judiciary Gold will be furnishing the exclusive GrandMaster’s Box to the participants. This box contains a curated collection of over 1500 essential questions and three extensive booklists, incorporating 1000+ one-liners from civil and criminal law.
The event will also have an exciting Judiciary Quiz with cash prizes of INR 10,000/- and incredible goodies up for grabs.

Launched in 2016, Toprankers offers courses in the test prep segment focusing on law, judiciary services and state exams, management test prep exams like Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUET), and design, fashion, and architecture entrance tests such as the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA). The platform provides these courses under different brands such as LegalEdge, JudiciaryGold, SuperGrads and CreativeEdge. It also helps students with career discovery, job preparation and overseas studies.
The EdTech startup raised $4 million in a Series A funding round led by Sixth Sense Ventures last year in June. With this acquisition of The Lex Guru, Toprankers has made its second acquisition this year. In April, the platform acquired the career guidance platform ProBano.
