Are you looking to transition your web2 engineers to web3? Then you need to look no further than Rise In, an industry-leading education platform. Recently, the company acquired BlockBeam, a US-based EdTech startup that provides web3-focused education to students from 90+ university blockchain clubs.
The acquisition has allowed Rise In to become the go-to place for web3 developers and has enabled them to collaborate with some of the biggest names in the blockchain and web3 ecosystems, such as Solana, BNB Chain, Polkadot, Sui, Internet Computer, and Ethereum Foundation. With this acquisition, Rise In is now able to train the next generation of web3 developers in the United States.
Rise In’s CEO Gulcan Yayla spoke on the acquisition, saying: “We met with BlockBeam in 2022, experimenting with the best methods to train talent on blockchain and web3. We are passionate about providing developers a structured and easy-to-follow onboarding process, leading to a meaningful career. Seeing the same passion in the BlockBeam team and their close relationship with the university clubs helped us make the acquisition decision. This way, we’ll help our partners reach some of the best web3 talent in the world.”
Rise In is now able to offer free web3 education to developers worldwide, and will be introducing an internship programme for college students, who account for 31% of bootcamp applicants. The company is also able to provide graduates with developer grants, bounty programmes, hackathons, job opportunities, and venture-building support.
This acquisition has allowed Rise In to gain access to the world’s best colleges and universities, and will help to ensure that teachers and students are equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in this rapidly growing field.
