Unlocking Global Prospects for Skilled Indian Candidates with NSDC International and The Adecco Group Collaboration

In a groundbreaking move, the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and global workforce solutions company, The Adecco Group, have announced a transformative collaboration that is set to revolutionize international mobility for qualified Indian candidates. This strategic partnership framework seeks to unlock the potential of India’s youth and leverage the strengths of both organizations to create pathways for skilled Indian candidates to access international employment opportunities.

The focus sectors for this venture are Healthcare, IT & Engineering, Logistics, and others identified collaboratively. Through this collaboration, the NSDC and The Adecco Group are looking to promote the employment of qualified Indian candidates in several countries, including Germany, Spain, Canada, and Australia.

Founded in 2010, the NSDC has trained over three crore people in collaboration with training partners nationwide. It has also established 37 Sector Skill Councils (SSCs) and oversees the implementation of the government’s flagship skill development programmes, such as the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) and the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS).

The Adecco Group, headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, and listed on the Six Swiss Exchange, is the world’s leading talent advisory and solutions company that facilitates over 3.5 million jobs daily.

In this collaboration, The Adecco Group will actively interface with a range of stakeholders, striving for a seamless process for onboarding the candidates. The company will meticulously outline comprehensive job descriptions, defining candidate eligibility criteria and technical prerequisites. Furthermore, NSDCI will help professionals transition from India to the destination country.
