EdTechReview.in is thrilled to announce the extension of the Tutor.com and New Hampshire Department of Education (NHED) collaboration agreement to reach upper elementary school students in grades 4-5 and adult learners preparing for the GED and HiSET high school equivalency exams.
Launched in 2022, the original partnership was created to provide free and unrestricted access to qualified tutors for all middle and high school students in the region. Tutoring is available to students enrolled in home education programs, public, private, and charter schools. With over 209 different subjects, from math and reading to social studies and vocabulary, students are able to get individualized tutoring in English and Spanish.
The Tutor.com platform provides a range of services to students, including an online classroom with whiteboard, text, and coding screens, Desmos graphing calculator, and more. Other academic support is available through the LEO platform, such as drop-off writing review service, self-paced SAT and ACT test prep from The Princeton Review, practice quizzes, video lessons, and other resources. The platform also integrates with the learning management systems of districts and schools across the state for students with one login. There are even friendly competitions among schools with ice cream or pizza parties to encourage the use of the service.
Chief institutional officer for The Princeton Review & Tutor.com, Sandi White, commented on the collaboration saying, “We are honored to partner with the state of New Hampshire to support even more learners in achieving their educational goals. We applaud the New Hampshire Department of Education’s commitment to meeting the needs of each student across the state.”
