The integration of Casio’s ClassPad.net technology with Open Up High School Mathematics’ Algebra 1 Programme is a huge step forward for both organisations in their mission to promote equitable learning experiences for all students. This partnership is a result of the companies’ combined efforts to address the challenges caused by limited access to technology resources.
ClassPad Math is now available to students and educators as part of Open Up High School Mathematics’ openly accessible curriculum. This intuitive online tool provides teachers and students with the opportunity to delve further into the presented mathematical concepts. The platform has been developed with an Equitable Integration of Technology Framework with the aim of empowering students with a deeper understanding of mathematics through the strategic use of technology, focusing on equal access and opportunities for all learners.
CEO of Open Up Resources, Jason Isaacs, stated: “This forward-looking collaboration between Open Up Resources and Casio is about harnessing our unique strengths and making math accessible to more learning environments. It’s about elevating innovation and advancing equity in mathematics education. We’re excited to begin this collaboration by providing teachers with practical tools to enrich students’ learning experiences through accessible tech integration in the classroom.”
