The programme is designed to train 100,000 engineering students in Tamil Nadu, with the aim of equipping them with valuable coding skills and practical experience.
This initiative, called ‘Naan Mudhalvan-Tamil Nadu Coders Premier League’ (NM-TNcpl), has been set up in collaboration with the Government of Tamil Nadu’s ‘Naan Mudhalvan’ initiative, Anna University, and the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation. The NM-TNcpl is a series of online and offline hackathons that will offer engineering students of Tamil Nadu the chance to showcase their coding abilities and gain valuable upskilling opportunities, all at no cost.
The NM-TNcpl was inaugurated by Thiru. Udhayanidhi Stalin, Hon’ble Minister for Youth Welfare and Sports Development, Government of Tamil Nadu, on October 6, 2023, at Anna Centenary Library, Chennai.
