Education technology is revolutionizing the way we learn and engage with knowledge. As part of this transformation, Union Minister for Education, Skill Development, and Entrepreneurship Dharmendra Pradhan recently visited Abu Dhabi to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with H.E. Ahmad Al Falasi, UAE Minister of Education. The purpose of the MoU is to strengthen the educational collaboration between India and the UAE.
During his three-day trip, Minister Pradhan visited 42 Abu Dhabi schools for disruptive learning. These schools are designed to provide flexible learning opportunities, such as learning and earning at the same time. This initiative is in line with the recommendations of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which focuses on maximizing the potential of talented youth and the workforce.
The MoU will enable students and faculty to share ideas and resources, as well as promote various educational initiatives. It will also facilitate the formation of a Joint Working Group (JWG) between the two countries. This JWG, which will be headed by representatives from both Ministries of Education, will meet at least once a year to evaluate and oversee the implementation of the MoU’s provisions.
Education technology is making it easier than ever for students and faculty to access knowledge and resources, and this MoU is a testament to that. The initiative is a major step forward in facilitating collaboration between India and the UAE in the field of education, and it will undoubtedly have a positive impact on both countries.
