The future of work is changing rapidly, and companies are looking for new ways to upskill their workforces. Disprz, an AI-powered learning platform that helps companies do just that, recently raised $30 million in its Series C round. Led by Lumos Capital, the round was joined by 360 ONE Asset (IIFL Wealth) and existing investors Kae Capital, KOIS and Dallas Venture Capital.
The capital raised will be used to fund global market expansion and product development. This will include integrating generative AI across the learning and skilling cycle, as well as the hiring of data scientists, skill scientists, and software engineers. The company also intends to form strategic partnerships, and potentially make acquisitions.
Founded in 2015 by Subramanian Viswanathan and Kuljit Chadha, Disprz helps organizations build a steady pipeline of well-trained employees by accelerating job readiness, enabling on-the-job skilling, and facilitating career mobility. It envisions itself as a people intelligence suite on a global scale, extending beyond employee skilling to encompass every stage of an employee’s lifecycle.
The platform has seen great success, with 350 organizations and 2.8 million users across India, Southeast Asia and the Middle East using the platform. Disprz has been employed by companies such as ICICI Bank, Amazon, Indian Oil, Bajaj Allianz, Ather Energy, HDFC Life, Starbucks, AIA, PETRONAS, Sharaf DG, Neom, Rivoli, and Kotak Life Insurance.
“The company’s consistent revenue growth, during and after the peak of the pandemic, shows that people’s advancement is recession-proof problem statement within HR tech – it is a core problem of humanity,” said Kuljit Chadha, Co-founder & COO of Disprz.
“Disprz is at the forefront of innovation in the learning and skilling space. We are on a mission to equip the workforce for the rapidly changing world, and we solve this mission using a B2B SaaS approach,” said Subbu Viswanathan, Co-founder & CEO of Disprz.
Managing Director of Lumos Capital Group, Rohan Wadhwa, commented: “Disprz provides the rare combination of breadth in product with their Learning Management System, Learning Experience Platform, and Frontline Enablement offerings, to meet a spectrum of customer needs and also the depth of product quality to ensure its serving customers with the highest level of product innovation.”
As EdTech grows in popularity, Disprz is one of the few HRTech startups in the Series C segment. With its steady revenue growth and expansion, Disprz is set to become a leading platform for companies looking to upskill their workforces. The startup is planning to partner with the broader learning and people-tech ecosystem to equip the workforce for the future.
