The University of Delhi recently announced a new partnership with the esteemed Hiroshima University of Japan. This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by DU’s registrar Vikas Gupta and Hiroshima University’s executive vice-president Shinji Kaneko, setting the stage for international collaborative research initiatives.
The primary goal of this partnership is to establish a mutually beneficial relationship between the two universities, based on friendship and understanding. The agreement also includes the exchange of faculty, academic staff, and students, as well as research findings, scholarly publications, and other relevant educational information.

The University is committed to the development of Japanese and international society through leading-edge research and the education of talented and innovative individuals.
The agreement will also allow for the implementation of various academic and educational exchange programmes. The partnership is valid for a duration of five years, with the possibility of renewal upon mutual agreement between both universities.
