Education technology is becoming increasingly popular as an effective tool for developing entrepreneurial mindsets in students. In this regard, Zila Parishad Nagpur (Secondary School Education Department) recently partnered with Global Alliance for Mass Entrepreneurship (GAME) and Udhyam Learning Foundation (Udhyam) to launch the Entrepreneurial Mindset Development Programme (EMDP). This program has been designed to equip ninth-grade students with the skills and mindset to navigate the opportunities and challenges of the 21st century.
The EMDP consists of an 8-10 week program that involves creative projects, experiential learning and the development of entrepreneurial mindsets. To ensure that teachers are appropriately equipped with the tools to implement the program, Udhyam will provide a full-day Training of Trainers (ToT) session. The program will end with a district exhibition in March 2024, where the top 10 projects will be showcased and rewarded.
Udhyam Learning Foundation believes that every individual has the potential to succeed when they are equipped with the right resources. The organization works with governments, corporations, nonprofits and other organizations to build a supportive ecosystem that empowers individuals to define their own paths. Through state partnerships, contextualized curricula, product interventions and business capability training, Udhyam strives to develop entrepreneurial mindsets and behavioural changes in learners.
This initiative by Zila Parishad Nagpur and its partners will surely bring positive outcomes to the students in Nagpur district and will help them build a foundation of knowledge and skills that will help them shape their future.
