EdTechReview.in (ETR) is excited to announce the launch of Koios, an AI-powered platform developed to help teachers unlock the potential of their students. Founded by former Spotify and Snap Inc. recruiter Tom Sherwood, Seedcamp talent manager Alex Lewis, and QuantCo research data scientist Martin Lukac, Koios is revolutionizing the way teachers engage with their students.
This revolutionary platform utilizes cutting-edge audio deep learning models based on original data, emphasizing a conscientious and ethical approach. It collects a minimum of 90 seconds of a student’s active speech, then provides a customized set of personality and management insights for teachers to utilize. These insights give teachers custom-tailored methods to communicate, motivate, and develop each student.
Koios recently secured $550,000 in a pre-seed funding round led by Seedcamp, with participation from Evolvient Capital and several undisclosed angel investors. The company intends to use the funds to further develop the platform.
