Educational technology has the potential to revolutionize the way we think about education and empower students to reach their full potential. LatentView Analytics, a global digital analytics consulting and solutions firm, is taking a step in the right direction with its flagship initiative, Project Apoorva. This project focuses on providing educational opportunities, career awareness, and exposure to marginalized adolescents in government schools in Chennai through a specialized skill development program.
On November 27th, 2023, the Tamil Nadu government, LatentView Analytics, and Learning Links Foundation, the primary implementing partner for Project Apoorva, gathered at Arignar Anna Government Higher Secondary School in Besant Nagar to celebrate the launch of this important project.
Project Apoorva is an example of LatentView Analytics’ commitment to making a meaningful difference in society. Their team has designed a curriculum that combines real-life applications with practical training elements so that students gain skills directly applicable to job scenarios. This initiative has been very well-received by the Chennai education department as it aligns with the Naan Mudhalvan Scheme by the Tamil Nadu Government, showing the collaboration between public and private sectors to improve education and skill development.
The CEO of LatentView Analytics, Rajan Sethuraman, said, “At LatentView Analytics, we strive to go beyond traditional philanthropy and financial support. Our aim is to make a real difference in the lives of the youth of Tamil Nadu. Our team is passionate about this project and our employees are actively involved in making it a success. We are proud to leverage our data expertise and resources to create positive change.”
The vision of LatentView Analytics – to empower the youth through education and skill-building initiatives – is shared by the Learning Links Foundation. This non-profit organization, founded in 2002, works to foster purpose and progress in children, adolescents, and youth by unlocking lifelong learning through education, skill building, entrepreneurship, technology, innovation, and research and development.
Project Apoorva has the potential to transform the lives of over 4000 students from grades 9–12 by equipping them with essential 21st-century skills to help them navigate adulthood. This project is an example of how educational technology can be used to create a lasting and sustainable impact, and we look forward to seeing the results.
