EdTechReview.in, an educational technology blog, is excited to announce Motion Education’s plan to expand its business across India. The leading NEET and JEE preparation institute aims to develop 100 new centres by the next financial year (2024-2025) through a franchise model. This expansion will help the platform reach 1.5 to 2 lakh students preparing for medical and engineering entrance exams nationwide.
In order to support this expansion, the institute plans to invest from INR 70 lakhs to INR 1.10 crore for each centre. This amount will be directed toward the end-to-end functioning of the centre, including technology integration, content creation, and the development of teaching pedagogy. Additionally, 700 or more teachers will be hired to maintain a healthy teacher-to-student ratio. AI and smartboard technologies will also be installed to help students achieve academic excellence with a focus on holistic development.
Speaking on the expansion, Nitin Viijay, the Founder & CEO of Motion Education, said: “We aspire to expand our presence across the country with the help of the franchise model. This model allows us to reach out to a maximum number of students who cannot relocate to new cities for medical and engineering entrance preparation. We are committed to providing the best to the students, and our goal is to help them achieve their dreams through quality education.”
In the last two years, Motion Education has set up 30+ centres, with 15 new centres opening this year. The centres have been receiving positive admission responses, and the institute has seen a large inflow of applications.
This expansion under the franchise model resonates with Motion Education’s plan to penetrate the country by providing the most resilient and best infrastructure. By expanding through the franchise model, the bootstrapped institute can gain visibility across the country at its own pace while maintaining the quality of its offerings and education.
Motion Education will add 30+ new centres in the first phase to bolster its presence in the South and other counterparts after creating a strong foothold in the northern and central parts of the country. The company, established in 2007 by IITian Nitin Vijay, prepares students for NEET, JEE, NTSE, KVYP, Olympiads, and other competitive exams. Their goal is to provide quality education at an affordable price.
For teachers, Motion Education’s expansion plan could be an exciting opportunity to take part in the institute’s mission to provide quality education. From the selection of faculty to streamlining processes, teacher training to providing study material, installation of technology and systems, and more, the institute will provide the resources necessary to support the centres.
As EdTechReview.in, we believe that Motion Education’s expansion plan is the right step towards addressing the supply-side gap in the education sector. With the plan to develop 100 new centres, the institute strives to improve the accessibility of education for JEE/NEET aspirants.
