An innovative educational company, Let’s Play Music, is offering a comprehensive music education program for children from four to six years old through its new online platform. The program, which is Let’s Play Music’s foundational music class, helps students learn music from the ground up using a play-based curriculum that is designed to develop musical talent, enhance intelligence, and deepen human connections.
Let’s Play Music founder Shelle Soelberg created the program in 1998 with the belief that music education should begin as early as possible for it to be effective. The platform offers a three-year curriculum that consists of 90 weekly lessons, each lasting 30 minutes. Every semester, students are shipped a learning materials kit to help them understand concepts and acquire skills correctly.
The online program also includes a 15-minute live online call with a certified Let’s Play Music teacher to ensure that students are properly supervised and able to understand the concepts. In addition, the platform offers two other live programs: Sound Beginnings for children four and under, and Presto for children seven to eight years old who missed the window to start its program.
Through this program, students are able to come out with a wide variety of musical skills and the ability to compose their own pieces of music. Furthermore, it boasts an 80% completion rate for its three-year program – way higher than other conventional music teaching programs which have only 20% of students remaining after three years.
With the Let’s Play Music online platform, teachers can now easily access the program’s comprehensive curriculum and use it to help students develop their musical skills from the comfort of their own homes. This is especially beneficial for students who live far away from a licensed Let’s Play Music teacher.
