TestnTrack, the AI-powered SaaS platform designed to make examinations easier and more efficient for both physical and digital tests, has closed a pre-seed funding round led by EvolveX, an international startup accelerator run by We Founder Circle (WFC).

The company, which was founded by Vinay Kamal Sharma, Priya Soni, and Ritwik Joshi in 2022, plans to use the new funding to reach 25 cities and evaluate 50,000 students over the next year in cities like Kota, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Lucknow, and Indore.

TestnTrack is transforming the traditional manual copy-checking process by using AI to automate hand-written assessments. Not only does this save teachers time and effort, but it also gives them real-time feedback on their students’ answer sheets. The platform is also pioneering the development of models to support vernacular languages, making education more accessible for everyone.

The company has seen impressive growth since its start, gaining over 112 institutions across three states and six cities and evaluating over 56,000 test sheets. This year, they expect to earn INR 1.8 crore.

Bhawna Bhatnagar, the Co-founder of EvolveX, expressed enthusiasm for the potential of TestnTrack, noting that the platform offers teachers and parents a comprehensive, data-driven look into their students’ academic journey. She also emphasized EvolveX’s commitment to providing comprehensive support, mentorship, and guidance to TestnTrack to help them navigate the dynamic EdTech landscape successfully.

The EdTech sector, specifically the test preparation and Academic Assessment segment, is expected to reach a staggering $9 billion market opportunity by 2030. With this in mind, EvolveX’s support for TestnTrack is invaluable, as it offers startups access to a network of experienced mentors and angel investors and upfront funding of $30K and $200K worth of credits.

TestnTrack’s mission to revolutionize the traditional Hand-written Assessment process is paving the way for a more accessible, data-driven future for EdTech. With the help of WFC’s long-term vision and resources, the startup is poised to create value for all stakeholders and continue to break down barriers in the realm of education technology.
