EdTechReview.in is proud to announce the collaboration between PowerSchool, the leading provider of cloud-based software for K-12 education in North America, and Stepwell, a collaborative web-based platform specializing in unique education compliance and monitoring at the district, regional, and state levels. This partnership provides PowerSchool Special Programs users with streamlined monitoring and easy-to-use tools to help them meet Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA) compliance requirements.

The integration with Stepwell allows for improved collaboration between State Education Agencies (SEAs) and Local Education Agencies (LEAs), giving visibility into timely and relevant student data, history, processes, and timelines. This will enable PowerSchool customers to meet IDEA compliance and achieve better outcomes for students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).

Marcy Daniel, Chief Product Officer of PowerSchool, describes the collaboration as a “game changer in special education” because it not only simplifies the monitoring process for IDEA compliance, but also helps educators to spend more time with students.

The Stepwell platform provides a number of features, such as modernized dashboards with “at a glance” statuses and one-click access to tasks, reports, and timelines. It also has an integrated workflow engine configured to drive the optimal process sequence to ensure success and avoid compliance and performance issues. In addition, users have access to a robust package of visualizations, a monitoring item bank, and a single platform for reporting and analysis.

Andrew Henry, Founder and President of Red Cedar Solutions Group, comments on the partnership, “Stepwell is proud to partner with PowerSchool and provide our monitoring and compliance platform to their unique education solutions. We believe this partnership will offer SEAs and LEAs with the tools they need to improve compliance and student outcomes.”

The collaboration between PowerSchool and Stepwell provides teachers and school administrators with a powerful tool to help ensure compliance with the Individuals with Disabilities Act and to create better educational outcomes for students with Individualized Education Plans. With this partnership, educators can focus more of their time and energy on providing the best education possible for their students.
