EdTechReview.in, India’s leading edtech blog, is reporting on the latest news about Scaler, an innovative tech upskilling company. Scaler recently launched its GPT-4 powered AI teaching assistant, which integrates ChatGPT functionalities into its Scaler Academy program. This AI solution helps to reduce the doubt resolution turnaround time of learners, ultimately improving their learning outcomes.
The teaching assistant provides comprehensive support for learners round-the-clock, allowing students to learn at their own pace. The AI assistant helps address three potential pain points: understanding problems, identifying optimal problem-solving approaches, and code debugging. Learners can share their pain points with the teaching assistant and receive appropriate responses to assist with their queries. The AI assistant also provides prompts that aid learners in understanding the problem better and encourages independent problem-solving without revealing the actual solution.
Commenting on the development, Scaler & InterviewBit Co-founder Abhimanyu Saxena said: “It is crucial to provide working professionals undertaking tech upskilling courses with an outcome-driven and high-quality learning experience at every stage of their journey. Previously, our Scaler learners relied solely on teaching assistants available for 15 hours a day to address their doubts. However, with the launch of our GPT-4 powered AI teaching assistant and the THR feature, learners can now have their doubts and queries addressed instantly.”
In addition to the AI assistant, Scaler has also introduced a Text Help Request (THR) feature that enhances the learner experience by providing immediate and high-quality doubt resolution. This feature uses advanced machine learning algorithms such as BERT and Distilled BERT to offer the most appropriate THR recommendations based on learners’ queries. Within a week of its implementation, Scaler is already seeing a 30% better resolution of help requests raised by learners on average.
Scaler has granted access to the AI Teaching Assistant to 6000 learners from its Scaler Academy program, and the feature has already had a significant impact on learners’ experiences. With over 33% more learners utilising the tool to solve problems independently, learner satisfaction has improved significantly. Scaler is aiming to make the AI Assistant and the Text Help Request features available to its 35,000 learners in the Scaler ecosystem over the next three months.
By leveraging the power of AI and ML, Scaler is transforming the landscape of tech education, empowering learners to achieve their goals efficiently and effectively. EdTechReview.in recommends teachers and educators to consider using Scaler as a tool for their students. Educators can use the AI assistant to help their students quickly and easily understand complex concepts and improve their problem-solving skills.
