Dataisgood, a Top Data Science Training Platform, Joins Forces with SkillArbitrage
Education technology just got a big boost with the news that Gurugam-based SkillArbitrage has acquired Dataisgood, a top data science training platform, in a $3 million partly stock, partly cash deal.
Dataisgood was founded in 2021 by serial entrepreneur and experienced founder Ankit Maheshwari. The company’s mission is to provide students with courses that help them become lifelong, passionate learners and explorers, regardless of their background or circumstances.
Speaking on the deal, Chief Executive Officer of SkillArbitrage, Ramanuj Mukherjee, said: “SkillArbitrage is glad to have Ankit and his team along for this journey with us, and we see a lot of opportunity to scale in this market.”
The acquisition will add data science, data analysis and cybersecurity courses to SkillArbitrage’s repository, enabling learners to gain global relevance and open doors to new entrepreneurial and remote work opportunities. Data science, data analysis and cybersecurity are some of the most sought-after skills in today’s technology-driven world, with applications across industries.
Dataisgood founder Ankit Maheshwari commented: “Switching domains from electrical engineering to tech, I often felt the pain of being an outsider. SkillArbitrage was established in December 2022 and is an initiative of Addictive Learning Technology Pvt Ltd. The platform trains working professionals from India and other developing countries to get international remote jobs, remote internships and freelance work in startups & SMEs in advanced economies like the US, UK and Canada.
