Teachers looking for better ways to hire the best candidates for their schools will be pleased to learn that Spark Hire, an online video interviewing platform, has acquired the talent assessment platform Chally. Through this acquisition, Spark Hire will be able to expand its talent acquisition services to organizations around the world.

Founded in 1973, Chally has been providing assessment reports to companies of all sizes, including some of the biggest names in the Fortune 500. The company is based in Dayton, Ohio, and uses a blend of technology and science to give detailed insights into potential hires. This includes their strengths and weaknesses, as well as their attitude and work ethic.

Chally also offers clients an integrated suite of tools to get a better understanding of their teams and how they fit into the organization’s overall goals. With the merger of Spark Hire and Chally, the two companies are now able to provide a complete solution for talent assessment.

Josh Tolan, CEO of Spark Hire, had this to say about the acquisition: “The acquisition of Chally is a major milestone for Spark Hire. It will help us expand our suite of innovative and trusted candidate assessment tools and deepen our commitment to providing the industry’s best and most effective interviewing experience.”

Spark Hire, which was established in 2010, has helped over 6,000 organizations interview millions of candidates in over 100 countries. This June, the Illinois-based company merged with ATS provider Comeet as well.

The acquisition of Chally will be beneficial for teachers looking to hire the best talent for their schools. With Spark Hire’s comprehensive talent assessment platform, they can now make better and quicker hiring decisions that are more collaborative. The company has also stated that it will continue to invest in the platform’s development, with additional features and products set to be released soon.
