Now, this collaboration with EARTH University takes Minerva’s mission to the next level.
EARTH University is renowned for its innovative educational approach, which focuses on preparing young people from Latin America, the Caribbean, Africa and other regions to contribute to the sustainable development of their home communities. Their world-class scientific and technological education emphasizes ethical entrepreneurship and strong socio-environmental commitment. Students can access labs, farms, a commercial banana plantation, reforested areas, and a large, protected rainforest reserve.

The collaboration between Minerva and EARTH University will be spearheaded by Minerva Natural Sciences Professor Andy Dosmann. UWC Costa Rica, one of the United World Colleges schools, will also be participating in the exploratory design project.
Minerva already has a strong history of producing problem solvers and entrepreneurs who can address global challenges. Their alums have gone on to create innovative companies such as Seabound, which captures CO2 emissions from ships. This partnership with EARTH University will provide teachers with yet another opportunity to help their students gain real-world experience in sustainability and develop into global leaders.
