Teachers and school administrators have long been looking for ways to better prepare their students for successful careers in the equipment finance industry. The Equipment Leasing & Finance Foundation (ELFF) has recently taken steps to help fill this need with the launch of Campus to Career, an enhanced platform of next-generation talent development programmes. This comprehensive program provides a variety of resources to help students explore the equipment finance field and its opportunities.
Campus to Career offers students a number of resources including industry presentations, internship listings, recruiting best practices, and scholarship opportunities. The Foundation has also partnered with Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business to develop a certificate of study in equipment finance. The coursework includes credit analysis, lease accounting, and sales and marketing, and will be available to students beginning in the Spring of 2024.
Donna Yanuzzi, Director of Equipment Finance at 1st Equipment Finance (FNCB Bank) and chair of the Foundation’s academic outreach committee, praised the new program. “So many of us are searching for talent to build our businesses to better serve our clients well into the future. The Foundation team understands our needs and has dedicated much effort to developing the Campus to Career programs to help us find the best new talent.”
Nancy Pistorio, Foundation Chair & President of Madison Capital, also remarked on the development of Campus to Career. “The success of the Foundation’s academic outreach to date, strong industry demand for student talent recruiting resources, and our groundbreaking curriculum development partnership with ASU demonstrate the value of our expanded investment in the Campus to Career platform. The Foundation continues to fulfill its forward-looking mission with programs that elevate the stature and sustainability of the equipment finance industry thanks to the support of our generous donors and volunteers.”
The ELFF was established in 1989 as a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the equipment leasing and finance industry. By offering resources such as Campus to Career, the Foundation is helping to ensure that teachers and students have the tools they need to explore and succeed in the industry.
