For many teachers, the challenge of managing employees and providing them with the necessary benefits can be overwhelming. That’s why the recent news of Pakistan-based HRtech startup Paismo raising $1.3 million in a seed round is so exciting. This funding round, which brought the company’s total funding to $1.5 million, was backed by prominent global venture capital firms such as Indus Valley Capital, Antler, and Jedar Capital.

The money will be used to help Paismo expand its platform globally and provide access to health insurance for employees. Founded by Rebecka Zavaleta and Usama Mahmud, Paismo offers a variety of HR solutions that can help teachers efficiently manage their staff and ensure they receive the benefits they deserve.

The platform is designed to provide a comprehensive, user-centric solution that is accessible internationally. To achieve this, Paismo has partnered with companies such as Adamjee Insurance and MCB Islamic Bank to provide access to financial and insurance benefits. It also allows businesses of all sizes to participate in free product demos.

Speaking about the investment, Aatif Awan, the founder of Indus Valley Capital and former VP of Growth and International at LinkedIn, said: “I saw firsthand at LinkedIn how software can create economic opportunity globally. With Paismo, we are excited about the opportunity to build an incredible ‘Made in Pakistan, for the World’ SaaS product to solve a massive problem for employers and teachers across emerging markets.”

By investing in Paismo, teachers can have peace of mind knowing that they have an efficient and reliable way to manage their staff and provide them with the benefits they need. With Paismo, teachers can focus on what they do best: educating their students.
